flexidata has a long history in video pipeline inspection reporting. Below is a brief history of the product and its creators.

1996    flexidata was developed as a software product to display the results of an inclinometer survey done with a Pearpoint Camera System.

1997    Released in the United Kingdom as a CCTV sewer survey software.  The format is based on the WRc mode developed by the Water Research Council.

1998    The flexidata format was developed for the US market and included a video capture module. The first license was sold to Las Lunas New Mexico.

2000    The look of flexidata changes to the current “browser” and is revised to be compatible with Windows 98.  Grout Survey added.  Long Beach Water, Casper Wyoming, Ketchikan AK are all early supporters of flexidata.

2001    DVS (Digital Video Survey) was released to record the survey as an MPG 1 file.  Dallas TX and San Diego CA become flexidata customers.

2002    MPG 2 format added to DVS.  Webex Internet Conference Site added for better support of customers. NDEU compatibility added to interface with Hansen.  Riverside CA and El Dorado Water District are both Hansen/flexidata clients.

2003    Manhole Module released.   PACP mode added and certified by NASSCO as PACP software vendor.  Fort Lauderdale FL and San Francisco CA join the flexidata family.

2004    PipeLogix formed and becomes owner of flexidata.  Lateral Survey released.  First GIS module released.  DVS functions enhanced with Pause and Append.

2005    Feature added to Burn CD or DVD within flexidata.  WMV recording added (Windows Microsoft Movie) to offer better video-file compression.  Compatibility for Aries (VL 2000, VL 3000), IBAK, Envirosight added.  Flexiplayer was completely rewritten and released.

2006    GIS Module improved with new features including printing a map showing pipes currently surveyed.  PACP score reports improved.  GPS interface added.  Certified to new PACP 4.1 standard that includes better code validation.

2007    MACP mode released

2008    Cityworks interface released.  Support for Inukton added.  RST Inclinometer interface added.

2009  LACP mode released.  PACP, LACP, MACP version 4.4 released.  360 module released to interface with Panoramo and Panoramo SI camera system.

2010 Sonar module released.  Laser Measurement added. NDEU/Infor Hansen V8 support.   Name changed to PIPELOGIX.
